The Texas XXXs have made frequent appearances at the various International Seniors Rugby Festivals over the years and from their first appearance at the second Golden Oldies Festival in Long Beach, California in 1981 until today the Texas XXXs have always been a favorite with other teams, supporters and spectators.

Until challenged, it could be suggested that the Texas XXXs have one of the best participation records at the Golden Oldies worldwide having attended 9 of the last 14 events, with the last appearance in San Diego in 2005. Certainly the XXXs have the lead in participation among the teams from the USA.

More recently the XXXs have attended the second World Vintage Rugby Carnival in Argentina, a newly formed competitor to the Golden Oldies Rugby Festivals.
